TEHRAN -- The head of the Rural Cooperative Society in Abadan said that "to stimulate the economy and increase export of non-oil goods, 95 tons of dates worth Rls.319.5 million were exported to the Middle Eastern countries and Thailand.

He predicted that about 45 thousand tons of dates from 10 thousand hectares should be obtained this year, part of which would be exported.
